The graduate

Last week we spend a day celebrating Renias graduation.Friend's and family seems to be very happy and Renia was glowing.I couldn't resist of taking many photos of granny and drandpa.In this post some photos are from Vaggelis who you can find him here : http://www.camerafeelings.blogspot.gr/

Green tomatoes

This Sunday was one of those that we take care of our field.We found 7 new puppies, green tomatoes and plenty of sun and bees!Here are some  photos and something for you.

baked green tomatoes

• 2 large green tomatoes
• 1 egg
• 1 cup Parmesan cheese (shredded, NOT grated)
• 1/4 tsp salt
• 1/4 tsp black pepper
• 1 cup breadcrumbs
• Pinch cayenne pepper
• Olive oil 

Preheat oven to 200 degrees. Mist a baking sheet with olive oil. Slice tomatoes between 1/8 and 1/4 inch thick. Beat egg. Combine Parmesan cheese and spices. Dip each tomato slice in the egg, then into the breading mixture, pressing to coat both sides. Place breaded slices in a single layer on the baking sheet. Mist tops with olive oil  and bake for 30 minutes or until golden brown and crispy. No need to flip them.
